Free Eye Treatment Project

We aim to provide free eye treatment as needed by the poor.

GPWT has decided to expand the wide range of services it offers and has now used funds in order to provide free eye treatment for those in need;- cataract surgery in particular. Unfortunately, in many rural areas and villages, medical treatment is avoided as it can simply not be afforded by the ill, so they are made to suffer in silence. We aim to put an end to needless suffering, and want to improve the quality of life of countless people, but this project wouldn’t have been made possible if it wasn’t for the support and advice given by Dr. Sayed Jawad Shah (MBBS-FCPS), reputed eye specialist of Khanpur, Pakistan. He has very kindly volunteered to personally perform the operations, and Inshallah we will have changed many lives for the better soon.
