Syria Food Aid Ramadan 2018

This is the latest update on the food distribution in Syria as of June 2018.

All praises are for Allah SWT who has given us the means to assist those in need. May He accept this from all of us and keep us among those that help others and not among those that need help.We managed to raise £10,700.51. With this money we were able to purchase 25 tons of food.12.5 tons of barley wheat flour and 12.5 tons of lentils. We got a good deal from the brothers in Turkey who normally only sell single item containers. They did a deal with half and half and included delivery to Syria for £10,152.61.This food will be distributed by brother Shaq who is in Syria and representatives of Al Bayan Foundation who operate in the Idlib and Hama refugee camps.The remaining money will be used to purchase from wholesalers in Birmingham and will be sent on the next container sent to Syria by Al Bayan Foundation.Please see attached photos and if you require any more information don’t hesitate to contact us.BarakAllah Fee on behalf of Global Public Welfare Trust

We will be  sending a container of food to Syrian refugee camps in time for Ramadan In Shaa Allah

We are requesting for monetary donations before the 20th of April

Unfortunately, we will not be accepting food donations, as we will be buying the food in bulk from wholesalers. ensuring we get the most out of your money’s worth and avoiding the amount of time consumed when checking donated items are within date and marked Halal.

We will be purchasing non-perishable food items such as;

Oil

Rice

Flour

Sugar

Baby food

Food tins (tomatoes, lentils, ect)

We are aiming to have the container reach Syria just before Ramadan, so please send your donations soon as.
